Trying out this blog stuff!

Hi All!  Yes, it's true, I've finally joined the rest of the world and started blogging.  I'm not much for words so this is going to be really interesting.  Let's see,  I want to give props to the people who work at SEVTC.  They are over in Richmond, VA as I type this to fight the closing of the center.  Some have been there since last night to make sure they get in line first thing this morning to sign up to speak to the general assembly.  They will be the voice of the people who live at Southeastern who can't speak for themselves.  It is very unfortunate that they have been reduced to financial burden to our government.  How did this happen?  Just remember those of you in the general assembly, you and anyone in your family are just an illness or an accident away from being in their place.  How would you feel if your quality of life is decided by how much you are costing the government therefore they want to unload you to be someone else's problem?  Just a food for thought.

Aside from that, we at Celebrations-MJ Photography are excited to be celebrating our 1 year anniversary in the photography business.  The past year has taught us a lot.  We were so fortunate to have worked with all the families and the couples who gave us a chance to show them what we got.  It was a wonderful year and we look forward to many more.
